Angela Tong Ying Ying was born on June 30th in Montreal, Canada. Growing up with two older brothers and many male cousins, she became known as a tom Boy? Angela loved basketball, skateboarding, soccer, wrestling, and field hockey. As she grew up, her interest changed from sports to performance. In high school, she joined the drama club and performed in a variety of school plays. In 1995 Angela decided to become a contestant in the Miss Chinese Montreal Pageant. After winning the title, she went on to participate in Miss Chinese International, placing in the top 10. Not long after, TVB offered her a contract to become a television artiste. Since then, Angela has acted in many TVB drama series, including od of Honor? M 701? quare Pegs? ps and Downs in the Sea of Love? and  Driving Power? Currently Angela is shooting a new TVB drama series set in the Ming Dynasty period, playing one of the Emperor concubines. One of the reasons why Angela loves her job is because she is fortunate enough to host travel shows. This has enabled her to travel around the world to fascinating places like Thailand, Cambodia, India, China, France, USA, Sweden and Egypt.During her free time Angela enjoys practicing Yoga, reading, singing, watching plays, movies and television. Angela also enjoys visiting her families & friends in Canada.
